Sci-Fi Laboratory

A group project where a three person team designed and modeled all the assets to create a modular sci-fi laboratory.

My role: Modeled and placed all of the architecture assets (including walls, floors, railings, platforms, shelves, and pillars), as well as some props. The kit of parts images include all original models by me. All the concept art and block outs included here were also done by me.

Background Story:

This abandoned research lab led by the American government in the 80s is disrupted and dismantled after a test went wrong. This lab was devoted to researching and developing a secret weapon for the American government. They were attempting to build a weapon that could enhance the human ability. The suit was designed to make any human virtually invulnerable. But after a test gone wrong, the weapon malfunctioned and the lab had to be evacuated for the safety of the scientists. It is an underground lab and has been sealed off for the safety of those around it. Inside the lab, scientists would work on the ground floor doing research and developing and constructing the weapon. There are computer stations, work stations, and storage near the weapon. On the second level of the lab, there is a window viewing area where generals or military officials would gather to see progress of the weapon. This area is sealed off by glass.
